ME

I have wanted to make games since I was 7, most of the things I do is to aid in that goal in one way or another.

If I got to describe how it is to work with me I would say I am a nice person who tries his best, is quick with solutions, is mindful of the project as a whole and can be motivated to work extremely hard. I can be opinionated on certain things but that only happens when I don't see the logic behind what I am arguing against.

Outside of that I don't really know what to say. I love cabbage? It works great for a bunch of food, tastes well on it's own, easy to make and it's cheap too. Overall a great vegetable.

My story

The skills of a generalist

I started my game making career by coming up with a bunch of designs and characters for games with my friends.

For these "pretend" games I made maps that was specifically designed around all characters move sets and game play styles. Taking heavy inspiration form Overwatch and Team fortress 2

After doing that for around 4-5 years I applied as a game artist student at LBS Gothenburg and went there for 3 years. I went art as I was good in it and I wanted to improve my illustrations to more easily convey that I was thinking in my design. It was never the plan too artist. I always wanted to be a designer but there was no game design course, so I went art.

From that I got some skills with photoshop and Maya even became a bit of an animator. But still that wasn't what I wanted to do, so I started taking extra classes in programming (extremely basic C#)

Around then it was time to move to future games. Making my application was a bit all over the place, I started wanting to make a game in unity but after having trouble with that. I decided to pick up unreal as it was easier to work with. Then after looking at an artist portfolio I got inspired to make enemies based on their setting and from that eldritch beast was born.

I got in, and in future games I worked on most type of design, but in the bigger projects I often did narrative design.
